Well first of all Joliet is very large so like Chicago there is good and bad parts incorperated with it, the police that serve there know how to handle those parts and are familiar with the people that live there, they monitor them accordingly, its a party they invaded somebody on the inside of the party told one of these people this is the idea they came up with so it was not random, also the price you pay to live in the area you live in determines a lot hence you get what you pay for, the cheaper your house the worse the area or you live in a bad house so it is not all area of joliet that are bad you know the bad area when you see it the houses look rundown and people are outside just staring at cars all day. So you know where you are, also your A.R. only good if you can get a hold of it when needed or else you better be able to make due without it, gun don't even help military men if the enemy shoot first so to me you better have other survival training or you'll be sorry if they get that gun away from you its over, I seen people that can use it to hurt you with it badly even your family will cry when they see the damage so nobody should think gun will protect them evil is evil. @rex it is sad,especially when you live like I feel I have to. Security systems,security cameras! Every member of my home has a foid card.iam also a pittbull rescuer ! The dogs I get from the joliet area is horrifying. There either bait dogs,sever frost bite,amaciated,beat ! When I see what some humans do to defensless animals I know I have to live under a secure home.especially when these animals came from some of the homes of some of these people who live a life of crime hate and gang life ! I say put the Elderly in jail! I know it sounds crazy, but really.. They will get a shower every day, video surveillance in case of problems, 3 hot meals a day, access to a library, tv, gym, doctors on site, and free mediation if needed and put criminals in nursing homes and they'll get cold meals, lights off at7, 2 showers a week, live in a smaller room and have to pay $4,000 a month for rent. It's pretty sad prisoners are treated better then elderly people.

Don't get me wrong, most ppl in jail have some responsibility towards their crime but at times it is more deeper than what we the outsiders see.
