Armed Robber Bags $400 from Deliveryman, Cops Say
The victim had just dropped off a delivery of Chinese food when the suspect pointed a gun at his chest and demanded his money, Joliet police said.
A Chinese food deliveryman lost $400 to a man with a gun Tuesday night, according to Joliet police.
The man had just dropped off a delivery from the Golden Dragon restaurant at about 9:30 p.m. when he was approached by a black man in the 900 block of Parkwood, who pointed a firearm at his chest and told him to hand over all of his cash, Cmdr. Rich Demick said.
The victim complied, and the suspect escaped on foot, Demick said.
