Alleged protection violation
The cops collared a Plainfield man after he violated a protective court order, police said.
Elbert Maldonado, 42, of 5320 Meadowbrook St. was taken into custody about 4:30 p.m. in the 200 block of Black Road.
Maldonado was charged with violating an order of protection and transported from Shorewood to the Will County jail in Joliet.
