Judge Edward Burmila called an end to today's testimony due to a sick juror. He didn't want him to infect the other jurors.

Doman also said Savio told her "on many occasions" that Peterson was "going to kill her and make it look like an accident."
Doman said Savio asked her to grab a suitcase from Savio's SUV in case anything happened to her. Doman said she did so, though the defense grilled her on inconsistencies she gave as to when she grabbed the suitcase. She testified she did not turn over documents to police but held on to them until 2008 when she gave copies of some documents to a producer for the Greta Van Susteren show, according to the Chicago Tribune.
She later gave copies of those documents to state police investigators.
Updated 10:06 a.m.
The day's first witness is Anna Marie Doman, Kathleen Savio's oldest sister.
Doman gave some explosive testimony about Drew Peterson allegedly banging on Kathleen Savio's door and demanding to be let in the day after she was found dead.
Doman also said Peterson cleaned the tub where Savio was found dead.
"You could see he was rubbing and rubbing and I said, 'What are you doing?' He said he was cleaning. He didn't want the kids to see the blood," Doman said.
"It didn't seem right. Why was there blood in the tub if she drowned?"
Just six weeks before she was found dead in March 2004, Savio visited Doman, Doman said. She looked "afraid" and "upset," Doman said. "Drew told her he was going to kill her. She wasn't going to make it to the divorce settlement. She wasn't going to get his pension or her children."
Original story
Prosecutors plan to call at least four witnesses to the stand Friday, including Kathleen Savio's sister, Anna Marie Doman.
ISP crime scene tech Robert Deel, locksmith Christopher Wolzen and retired Illinois State Police Sgt. Patrick Collins will also testify Friday.
It had been unclear whether Friday's testimony would include Savio's divorce attorney, who was in the hallway waiting to testify Thursday. Arguments over what he will be allowed to say delayed his appearance.
Judge Edward Burmila said he would restrict testimony from Savio's attorney to only the basic details of her divorce settlement with Peterson, according to the Chicago Tribune.

Did she report this to the Police the day Kathy was found dead or days after?

Just on the news Kathy's sister never told the Police even after her death that Drew would kill her. Humm now it looks like she could have fabricated this statemt after all these years to nail Drew out of hatred!?

Don't you follow this stuff through? The judge is allowing the witness to explain why that is, and why she went public to the media.

I am a little confused here. So, you knew Kathy Savio well enough to go to her wake and now you are saying her family is lying and someone else besides Drew did this to her???? Who are you??? Why would you go to pay your respects and then trash the deceased???? Frankly, Francis you sound like a Drew wannabe!

Watchful Eye
2:45 pm on Friday, August 3, 2012
Yeah, that's right Frankie, or whoever your morphed into lately.
She tampered with the documents. But what documents? You mean the documents that said she killed herself and made it look like an accident by drowning so Drew would get arrested? Or the Will? Oh wait a minute, there was no Will in there. Drew had the real Will, the one that left everything to him. Well, good then, She must have ripped the other real Will out of that suitcase that left her assets to her children, and/or her family. Phew. Good thing she tampered with that evidence, so Drew could get everything.
Oh, I know. Maybe she left evidence in there that she thought Drew was going to kill her, and Anna rushed to get rid of it. No, that can't be it.
I'm so confused. Could you clear it all up for me about what sounds like tampering with evidence to you? Ask your wife if you're stumped, would you?

So Kathy's found dead and the sister says nothing for 4 years about the suitcase. That's not possible evidence and there could have been a chain of custody kept all those years by the Police or States Attorney.

Am I the only resident of Will County that thinks the judge is showing his dislike for the prosecution? I can't help but think it is political and I have never voted for Glasgow so I am not politically motivated. Is the judge an elected official???
Watchful Eye
3:03 pm on Friday, August 3, 2012
The judge was a prior State's Attorney and was, in fact, voted out of office in favor of Glasgow. InSession and the Chicago Tribune have done stories on this.
It's anyone's guess what his reasons are for showing an obvious distaste for the prosecution, both my his rulings about keeping some of the State's evidence out, and by his screaming and yelling at Kathy Patton.
Who knows?

It's Will County business as usual that got us in this mess. Every judge in this county needs to be replaced with someone ethical. Remember the Coroner's Inquest???? And we still have the same lousy coroner. What an embarassment.

The judge is not doing a good job. And as far as Stacy's relatives keeping their mouths shut.....what's it to you. Drey preyed upon people without much family connection. What parent would let their daughter at age 17 date that pervert??? Yes, they should stick together and try to get justice for what the old perv did to their families. Lots of luck with a ME office. Will County is way to corrupt to do something like that.

You carefully type in your words this is strictly a volunteer comment forum and no one is forcing you to be on it. In fact I wish people that use language like you would not comment. But you are typing these words in believe me you could control your thought process if you cared to. Also, someone said you were a pastor of a church in Naperville, and above you refer to your priest so what is the deal? Surely a pastor would not find my comment judgemental.
