The cops say they tracked down a man who masturbated in front of a woman in the parking lot of the Dollar General on West Jefferson Street.

Elton Wise, 30, of 620 Darcy Ave. was brought in for questioning Friday and then arrested on a charge of public indecency about 10:50 a.m.

A woman told police she saw a man in a black Impala parked outside the Dollar General on June 30. The man had his pants down and was "pleasuring himself," police said.

The woman provided officers with the Impala's plate number, police said, and detectives tracked down Wise.

Wise was released on his own recognizance.
