Jesse Jackson Jr. has 'Mood Disorder': Sun-Times
Rep. Jesse Jackson Jr. is not being treated for alcohol addiction or other substance abuse, according to the Sun-Times.
The Sun-Times reported that Rep. Jesse Jackson Jr.'s office released a statement saying the congressman is "being treated for 'a mood disorder'—not for alcoholism or substance abuse."
NBC earlier reported that yes, Jackson actually is being treated for alcohol abuse in Arizona.
According to the Sun-Times story, Jackson's people won't say where the congressman is getting help for his mood disorder, but the statement from his office claimed “The Congressman is receiving intensive medical treatment at a residential treatment facility for a mood disorder. He is responding positively to treatment.”

Yeah, it's a mood disorder when it comes to the Jackson's. Papa Jackson fathered a child outside of his marriage, and Baby Jackson is no better. Now his house of cards is falling down around and on him and he develops a mood disorder. Between his bimbo and his political woes, I'm sure he's about to crack up.
To make the poor baby's plight better, Chicago's mayor had the audacity to announce that there's no hurry for him to get back to Congress; Congress isn't doing any work anyway. How dare he make that flippant comment? Would that work for his employees as well? I'm sure it wouldn't.
It's just another day in Chicago politics, except this one happens to be at the federal level. Maybe it'll turn out the way it did when John Stroger had a massive stroke, and the City and County politicians hid his condition from the voters until they could slide in that worthless son of his as Cook County President. Most can see how that worked out. It'll take years to straighten out the mess he caused, but that's how the politicians run things.
