The jury asked the judge to tell them what the word "unanimous" means.
Judge Edward Burmiila said he received the jury's question at 12:35 p.m. "Just to be clear, judge, what does 'unanimous' mean?" Burmila said the jury asked.
Burmila said he was sending back a note telling the jury that 'unanimous' means the agreement of all in regard to the matter at hand, and that when a verdict is reached, each juror must sign his or her name to it.
Updated at 12:40 p.m.
The jury has sent a question to the judge. The judge will read the question from the bench shortly.
Updated at 11:50 a.m.
The jury's lunch was just delivered. They may continue their deliberations while they eat.

The moron probably warned the defense to NOT seek an appeal. Which, we know they probably already filed for one. Drew will walk on appeal.

Mark my words..... This will get overturned in an appelate court. The Prosecutor and Judge made too many errors and it wasn't a fair trial. My gut does tell me Drew is guilty but that's just my biased opinion thanks to the bogus media coverage who already convicted him. This is a matter of a fair trial and drew didn't get one. The families can enjoy the victory today and so do I, but this is not over. Not by a longshot. The mistakes made by The State all through the beginning of the trial will be looked at in appeal and the conviction will be overturned. Drew will walk. He and his lawyers know it.

The judge made more mistakes than the prosecution. A good verdict was made by intelligent people who were not allowed all the evidence. Did you watch Judge Jeanine?

First, who is Judge Jeanine?? Second, the majority of the prosecution's case revolved around what one dead person and one missing person said to them before they died or dissapeared. Kathy or Stacy around around to testify and say, "No, I never said that." So, that's why the hearsay "he said she said" crap isn't normally allowed as evidence. There is no way to prove that the statements these people supposedly heard from Kathy or Stacy are true or even verbatim. This trial has been more about upholding due process and a fair trial (based on constitutional rights) than it has been about Drew being guilty or not. This is a sad day for anyone who believes in the justice system. Thanks for f'ing things up Glasgow and Burmilla.

Anyone who believes you can be convicted on hersay, doesn't know the constitution. Supreme Court here comes Drew.
This will be overturned.

Yep. Will County just made a mokery of the justice system. The sad thing is that the public doesn't care about that, they just want him convicted because their gut feeling and everything they've seen on T.V.... I truly hope this gets overturned in appelate court just so that we can have a little bit of confidence in the justice system. After it is overtuned, fire Glasgow and Burmilla. Democrats are trying to change the justice system now. SAD!!!!

Did anyone listen to James Glasgow's press conference after the verdict? Sounded to me like he was campaigning to be re-elected again in November. All he talked about was women's rights to not get bullied by men. LOL!!! Guess what, women bully men too.... In fact, lot's of women like to empty men's pockets and when the man is broke, they ditch him and demand alamony and child support in the divorce. furthermore, if a wife decides to really screw her husband over, she can just hit herself in the eye or put some scratches on her body, then call 911 and have a man sent to jail on domestic violence without a question. SO, Mr. Glasgow, how about helping out the man a little more?? Oh, you're a Democrat. Women and minorities rule!!!

Dosnt matter if you think hes guilty or not. Its a sad day for all when you have to basically create a new law (hearsay) to convict someone.Hearsay isnt evidence in my opinion. But when you cant build a traditional case or use the laws or standards of the past in Will county just create new ones.

When you get rid of a witness (read kill) their words should be heard.

That is true, Flora! If Stacy Peterson was not missing, she would have testified. Therefore, her two credible witnesses testified on her behalf.
