I saw this car in the ditch last night. The road was blocked off and we had to turn around. It's a really curvy road and the roads were a bit slick. He must have been speeding because the car was almost unrecognizable. What a terrible tragedy. My prayers go out to his family!

This has been a very sad day for all of us who loved Bobby. His family, friends, and everyone who loved Bobby will miss him greatly. There are very few people in this world like him. Always caring, loving, funny, and honest to everyone he came across. He was a loving devoted father and husband to his family and ours. We love you Gewalts and RIP Bobby we will see you again one day soon, but until that day comes we know you are always watching over us.

To the Gewalt Family:

Faith is not necessary when you know how things are going to work out, that's knowledge. It's in the time of unknowing that having faith is what sees you through to the other side. Faith is what give you strength. Faith is that light in your heart that keeps on shining even when it's all darkness outside. Now is the time to keep the faith alive.

Love you Bobby G.. Towbridge

Please take your arguments else where. Death is very hard thing for everyone. Family and friends of Bob can see all of this. It's very petty and not the time or place for it. Have some class black white Hispanic Asian Indonesian Puerto Rican.... Bottom line we are all human! R.I.P Pops we will surely miss our late night garage times:(

Would someone who has the ability to do so please remove this nasty and tasteless comments that don't have anything to do with this story. Some of these comments should be stricken and the persons who left this trash should be kicked out and not be allowed to leave any further comments. I have children who are interested in reading about what the online newspaper has to say but unfortunatey they are cannot view these stories any more due to these mindless idiots.

Yeah....then you might want to keep your kids locked up for the rest of their lives....Welcome to the real world...Shelter your kids and you will get shocked kids who do not know who to react...yeah the comments were tasteless but we do not have freedom of speech to just talk abou the weather or just to say the things others like...See how you just had comments removed?..this is the start of a dictatorship media...just like the 18 news stations that only have 1 writer and he is owned by Obama and the other presidents...Your demanding that the opinions of people and your fellow citizens be quieted down...This in turn can be done to you too...weather you like the comments or not...it is important to hold on to freedom of speech....and simple actions like this is the start of the deminishing of freedom of speech...

John Roberts, screw you and your comments. Yes, I requested that those comments be removed. And guess what?? Yep, they were taken off. Why?? Because they had nothing to do with what the story was about. And, they contained language that did not apply to what the story was about. So.....you can call it dictaorship if you like. You know, and I know, that what was said in those comments was inapproprate. My kids will grow up fast enough....I don't need people like you trying to push your little brained opinions toward my family. So, why was the comments that we're speaking of taken off? Not because of the crap that your trying to spew out below.....but because of what is right....you liberal right sided piece of garbage. I'm very happy to know that the editor of this online newspaper will not allow language such as what was used be allowed. I guess this makes you mad. I bet your one of those chickens that demands to have all the possible ammenities afforded to the "poor" given to you because your too lazy to go out and work for a living. Before I start speaking about who you are and exactly how you think my hard working tax dollars should keep your lazy butt in Jewel buying fattening junk and liquor to keep you drunk.......go get a worthwile job. America is tired of supporting your lazy behind.
