Perpetuum Jazille to Perform at the Rialto

Americans may not know Perpetuum Jazzile, but the a capella group from Slovenia is something of a phenomenon in Europe and soon will be gracing the stage of the Rialto Square Theatre.

The 35-member "vocal orchestra," which creates drums and other instrumental sounds using voices and hands, will perform at 7:30 p.m. March 20 at the downtown Joliet theater, known for its acoustic sound.

If you'd like to check out the group's sound, click here to view a video of them performing Toto's Asia, which has had more than 14 million hits on YouTube. The do a mix of current pop classics, such as Lady Gaga, as well as medlies from Michael Jackson, the Bee Gees and others.
