The Impala will be used as a marked squad car and the pickup has been slotted as the department's new undercover traffic car.

The village is buying the Impala from Green Chevrolet in Jacksonville for $21,076. Ron Tirapelli is selling the F-150 for $30,061.

Shorewood has 2 dealerships at I-55 and Rt52 and they couldn't buy them both locally?

Probably would of paid higher taxes if they bought them both locally. That or some other kind of back room bullsh*t.

F 150 is a great choice and will have many uses in addition to traffic enforcement. The state uses unmarked pickup's and vans for trafice law enforcement why not SWD.
I applaud the forward thinking of this choice.

Thanks Joe!

Maybe you should explain why municipalities buy things like vehicles out of their home area.

Have a great day!
