Shorewood Patch Rock the Vote

Or just vote. We don't care if you rock it or not.

It's Election Day!

Well, kind of. It's really just a primary. And not even a particularly interesting one.

Well, there is the presidential race. But you only get to vote in a contested race if you're pulling a Republican ballot. And if you do, you will also see local product Gary Fitzgerald going for the nomination in the 49th District of the Illinois Senate.

And then there's Jack McGuire, who is not representing Shorewood but did live there at one time, according to his wife and neighbors. McGuire wasn't supposed to be living there, mind you, but that's just more evidence of the irresistible allure of Shorewood.

At any rate, McGuire's running unopposed in the Democratic Primary for the 86th District of the Illinois House. Not that it means anything to you if you live in Shorewood, because no matter what kind of ballot you pick, you can't vote for him. But you can still keep McGuire in your thoughts, which he would surely appreciate.

And if all of that still isn't enough for you, there's that whole electric aggregation thing to vote on too.

So don't be a square — get out and vote. It's the cool thing to do!

I should go vote for Ryan Martin just so its another vote against Mcguire. Then again if he loses he really wont have the money to fix his wife's house in Shorewood. Well atleast the trash dump has been cleaned out thanks to Joe.

I am glad mcguire's property is a little better. He needs to respect his neighbors!
