Stacy Peterson's Brother Back in Prison
Yelton Cales, the sex offender brother of Drew Peterson's missing fourth wife, will likely miss the serial marrier's murder trial.
The sex offender brother of Drew Peterson's missing fourth wife often attended the month-long 2010 hearsay hearing held to set the ground rules for evidence in the disgraced ex-cop's murder trial.
But it looks like Stacy's brother Yelton Cales won't be making it to the Will County court trial itself, as he was hauled off to prison last week to serve a three-year sentence.
Cales, 32, was locked up in Stateville Correctional Center Thursday. It was his fourth trip to prison. In the past Cales has done time for domestic battery, possession of a stolen motor vehicle and aggravated criminal sexual abuse. This time Cales was sent away for driving with a revoked or suspended license.
The charge stems from a March 2011 incident in the parking lot of a Downers Grove Best Buy.
According to Downers Grove Patch, a drunken Cales squabbled with two men in the parking lot, claimed to be armed with a handgun and spat on one of them, police said.
An inquiry to the DuPage County State's Attorney's Office about the case was not answered. A woman answering the phone there Monday morning said the air-conditioning at the Wheaton courts complex was down and everybody was going home early.
Cales is a registered sexual predator. According to a report released by the Downers Grove Police Department, in January 2005 Cales "forcefully assaulted" a 15-year-old girl. He was 25 at the time.
The teen reportedly told police that Cales held her hands above her head when he assaulted and forced himself on her.
Cales must register with the state as a sexual predator for the rest of his life.
Drew Peterson said in 2008 that during Cales' last hitch in prison, his brother-in-law called him from time to time just to talk. He also said he planned to permit the sex offender to visit his young niece and nephew—Peterson's youngest children, Anthony, now 8, and Lacy, 7—after he was released from prison, but not without supervision.
Cales' little sister Stacy Peterson mysteriously vanished in October 2007 and has yet to be found. The state police suspect Drew Peterson had a hand in her disappearance, but have yet to charge him with harming her.
The state police did charge Drew Peterson with harming his previous wife, Kathleen Savio. He was jailed in May 2009 for allegedly murdering Savio and is scheduled to go to trial on July 23. Drew Peterson is due to appear in court today for a pretrial hearing.

His mother is "presumed dead" because she has been missing for so long and his dad could care less about ANY of his kids, that became apparent when he allowed Drew Peterson to date and then later marry his now missing, cough cough (DEAD) daughter.. The entire cales family is messed up, well at-least the few that are still alive.

you dont know them to judge them! Yelton is a great father, boyfriend to his girlfriend and family friend. He was turning his life around and violated his probation so now he's serving time for OLD cases. I

Yeah, Yelton Cales is a waste. He did time, got out, and found a woman to recently father two children with. Yet, he couldn't keep his life straight. No one to blame but himself. What a pity that the woman he shacked up with wasn't smart enough to think more highly of herself, and let him impregnate her two times. Double losers.
In Stacy's short life, at the young age of 16/17, she was corralled by an idiot 30+ years her senior, shaped and molded into his idea of perfect, and tracked at every given moment of her married life. It's too bad she never had the chance to learn from and move on from her flaws and mistakes, crawl out of her mess and go on to lead a conventional, productive life as a mom of two kids. Instead, she disappeared in a convoluted, mysterious way, leaving behind those that cared about her, and two babies who loved her and who she loved. Unfortunately, she didn't have the same chances Yelton had, which he blew! Hopefully, all of the young children of these two will go on to have happy lives.

Oh it sounds like you really know the whole jist of everything there...you dont know shit. The woman he impregnated with two beautiful babies is probably smarter than you seeing how she will be recieving her doctorate degree this year. He is not the same young punk he use to be, he has changed, the reason he is in jail is for older cases in which he violated his probabtion. Its not new cases. & when he returns from jail he's gonna continue to be with the mother of his children in the house ON MY BLOCK!!! they are the best neighbors a person can ask for! everyone notices the bad in people never the good...but i have witnessed the good of this guy and he's a great friend, neighbor, boyfriend to his girl, and a father. Do you know the stuff he's been thru his whole life? probably not, so before u go judge someone with your rude comments , learn the facts & then imagine a walk in their shoes because I doubt you woulda survived the crap he's been thru! Its unfortunate he might read your garbage comments one day and while you have good things to say about Stacy, she loved her brother!! so cut him some dam slack!

Who could judge anyone so harshly as every individual is shaped by many different things in their life from the moment of conception .....bottemline no one's perfect and anyone can be a victim of trust in all different ways too....ask an aids victim or the he/she's that have to contact the better business bureau...most people who spend time in today's prison's don't get rehabilitation at all so many come back to society as druggies or drunks.... I don't feel like I have walked a mile in anyone's shoes so I don't judge harshly....I am not a bleeding heart just a realist

You guys must have no lifes but to come on this page and talk about someone elses life that you read about not everything you read is true. Yeah he had a bad life but when he moved acrossed the street from me he was a changed man with a girlfriend and 2 beautiful babies .Yeah he has done some wrong in that passed but maybe you should now a person before you write ingornant comments about him. people with drinking problems are not bad people they just drink too much he needs to stop drinking and get back on the right path
