Joliet Central High School students Jileny Contreras and Samantha Vargas were recently selected as Honorable Mention Members of the 2012
Chicago Fire Girls All-State All-Academic Group.

Contreras and Vargas are invited to the Chicago Fire game on
Saturday, July 14 at Toyota Park in Bridgeview, where they will be recognized
for this accomplishment.

To be considered for this honor, all candidates must have been involved in at least 2 other school or community activities or sports, they must be seniors and their grade point average must have been a B or higher.

All honorees will be recognized on the Jumbotron Scoreboard during the game. In
addition, the first 50 honored players to order tickets are invited to a
post-game autograph session.
