Joliet West High School finished 15th in the IHSA 3A Boys State Track and Field Finals at Eastern Illinois University in Charleston, Illinois on Saturday, May 26. 

Senior Calvin Edwards led Joliet West with second place finishes in both the 100 meter and 200 meter dash.  Edwards ran the 100 meter dash with a time of 10. 62 seconds and the 200 meter dash in 21.61 seconds.  The time of 10.26 sets a new school record for Joliet West Boys Track and Field.

Joliet West’s 4x100 meter relay team finished in ninth place.   Edwards’ two silver medals on the day helped Joliet West to a 15th place finish out of 73 schools.
