JWHS Freshman Finishes Strong at IHSA Bowling State Finals

Joliet West freshman Taylor Bailey showed her mettle by earning a medal at the IHSA state bowling tournament. Bailey averaged 212.3 for 12 games and finished with a pinfall total of 2,547, good for 12th place. She finished with games of 242 and 245.

Joliet Township High School is pleased to announce that Joliet West High School Freshman Taylor Bailey finished 12th at the IHSA Girls' Bowling State Finals, which took place over the weekend in Rockford, IL.
Bailey shot 2543 for 12 games, including 4 games over 240. “Her high game of 286 set a new school record for competition play,” said Coach Justin McNally. “She had a couple lower games, but she showed the heart of a champion by fighting until the last game. I could not be more proud of her.”
