Crossroads Christian Church Relay for Life team will be hosting a Cardio for the Cure event on June 9, 2012 from 9:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. (doors open at 8:30 a.m.). The event will take place at Hope Lutheran Church, 305 E Black Road, Shorewood, IL 60404 and will consist of 2 hours of Zumba fitness fun and raffles. Admission is $20/person and 100% of the proceeds benefit the American Cancer Society.

Hope Lutheran Church is part of the Missouri Synod. The pastor, Rev. George Klima, has been at the church's helm since its inception in 1979. Klima is also the chaplain for the Shorewood Police Department and the Troy Township Fire Department.
