The 2012 Harvest of Hope brunch for suicide prevention and awareness is scheduled for 11:30 a.m. Sunday, Nov. 18, at Piper's Banquets in Aurora.

The schedule is as follows:

11:30 a.m.: Reception and silent auction

Noon: Elegant brunch

1:30 p.m.: Program

Guest speaker is Iris Bolton of Atlanta, Georgia, author of "My Son, My Son" and a nationally recognized speaker and leader of the survivor movement.

Organizers are seeking donations of raffle prizes. To donate, email wendi3boys@gmail.com.

Cost for the event is $60 per person. Reservation deadline is Nov. 8.
