2 Things Sure to Pique the Interest of Shorewood Residents
While your children are busy making pet rocks, you can relax to the 50's and 60's sounds of the Shorewood Glen Garage Band during Thursday's program in Towne Center Park.
1. Summer in Shorewood: The program begins at 6:30 p.m. Thursday (Aug. 15) in Shorewood's Towne Center Park. This week's attractions: Shorewood Glen Garage Band, Cruise Night autos from the 50's and 60's, ice cream social and the Shorewood-Troy Library staff working with children to make pet rocks.
2. Joliet Junior College Farmer's Market: The weekly market is from 3-7 p.m. Thursday (Aug. 15) in the Greenhouse Parking Lot, 1215 Houbolt Road, Joliet. Featuring: Fresh fruits, fresh vegetables and handmade artisan goods.
