Senior Services of Will County Offers Tai Chi Class

Twelve-week program is designed to help seniors improve balance, reduce the risk of falls.

One event is geared toward shredding old documents. The other will help you shed excess weight and shed a fear of falling. And both are for Seniors.

Senior Services of Will County is offering a 12-week Tai Chi program for Seniors 50-over that begins Tuesday (Aug. 6) and runs through Tuesday (Oct. 22). Beginner-level classes will focus on these goals: improving balance, reducing the likelihood of falls, preventing injuries and improving the quality of life.

Instruction will be provided by Wayne Jupiter of WDJ Productions. The classes will be from 10-11 a.m. each week at Will County Senior Services, 251 N. Center St., Joliet. The suggested fee is $30.
