Beatles Tribute Band to Headline Last Day of Taste of Joliet

Organizers have rounded out the musical lineup for the three-day Taste of Joliet, set for June 27 to 29 at Joliet Memorial Stadium, 3000 W. Jefferson St.

Sunday's entertainment starts at 2:30 p.m. with Chicago jazz artist Skinny Williams.

Popular Beatles tribute band American English will perform at 4:30 p.m. The band performs songs covering the Beatles' heyday from 1963-1970, complete with costume changes to reflect the evolution of the Fab Four.

The acts are new additions to this year's Taste entertainment, which includes Friday's appearance by the "Red Rocker" himself, Sammy Hagar, along with cover band ARRA and Chicago rockers 7th Heaven.

A country music lineup is set for Saturday, June 28.

Check out the entertainment schedule on the Taste of Joliet website.

This year's Taste will feature more than 25 food vendors, a carnival and a Kid Zone with inflatables and more for the little ones. A live remote for Radio Disney is also scheduled for Sunday morning.

Fans can avoid lines by buying tickets in advance on the Taste of Joliet website.

Tickets are $10 for general admission and $35 for the reserved front section. Admission is free for kids age 12 and under accompanied by an adult, and $5 for seniors age 62 and older.

Carnival Mega Passes are also on sale for $50, good for unlimited rides all three days of the Taste. You can get Mega Passes online or at the front desk at Inwood Athletic Club, 3000 W. Jefferson St.
