Design Expert Will Offer Room Makeover Tips at Library Event
Susan Powell believes in making use of items you already own as you look to refresh a stale room in your home.
A South Side design expert is bringing her makeover advice to a local library.
Susan Powell of InFocus Design in Crete will present a program called “Room Makeovers: Using What You Already Own” in the meeting room at Three Rivers Library’s Minooka Branch.
“I’m a firm believer that your house is you, your tastes,” Powell stated in a Sun-Times News Group report. “If you bought something, you must have loved it, so I can help you find a way to make it work.”

Powell’s program runs from 6 to 7 p.m. Wednesday (Aug 21). She is inviting participants to bring photographs of rooms they’d like to makeover, according a the Sun-Times News Group report, and she has more than 24 years of retail merchandising and design experience to share with her audience.
