James J. Kennedy rolled down his window and turned himself into citizen journalist Thursday morning (April 18, 2013), snapping these shots of the high waters off Seil Road at Four Seasons Park in Shorewood.

The National Weather Service in Romeoville is reporting a 3.24-inch rainfall total for the 24-hour period ending at 7 a.m. Thursday.
