Big Shot Actor Playing Joe Hosey in Hollywood Movie Too Cool to be Friends With Joe Hosey on Facebook

Also, I'm going to be in a charity dunk tank on Saturday.

It was very exciting to find out that they weren't just making a movie out of my book Fatal Vows: The Tragic Wives of Sergeant Drew Peterson, which is still available for purchase in hardcover, but then it came out that Rob Lowe was cast in the starring role.

That was pretty unbelievable. A big star like Rob Lowe in the movie they were making out of my book. Who would have thought?

And then I found out that I was going to be a character in the film. That's right — there's going to be a character named "Joe Hosey" in the movie. I was thrilled when I heard that was actually going to happen.

So thrilled, in fact, that I sent a Facebook friend request out to the guy who is going to be playing Joe Hosey in the movie. His name is Charlie Koznick. Before he got to play me, it looks like he was in some TV shows, at least according to his profile on IMDB.

He was also nominated for a Daytime Emmy in 2009, so I guess all of that makes him too important for us to be Facebook friends.

At least so far. I sent the request out to him a week ago today, so it might be too early to tell. Maybe Charlie's just been too busy to check his email or his Facebook page. After all, he is in the middle of shooting a movie.

We'll wait a while and let you know how this turns out.

Also, and this has nothing to do with the movie or the book, but I'm going to be in a dunk tank at the Shorewood Crossroads Fest on Saturday.

The Kiwanis Club is running the show with the dunk tank, and the money they raise is going to help underprivileged children, so stop by and throw a few.

And Charlie, you're invited to the Shorewood Fest too if, you know, you're not too busy or anything.
