'Rango' Takes Shorewood: What Shorewood's Watching
Somebody finally knocked off 'Just Go With It,' and that somebody was a Johnny Depp-voiced chameleon.
Just Go With It was at the top of the list of most popular Redbox movie rentals for an unprecedented three weeks but it's not anymore.
In fact, the Adam Sandler-vehicle (which we at the Shorewood Patch admit we haven't seen but can't imagine is all that good) isn't on the list this week at all.
What is on the list, and at the top of it, no less, is Rango.

"Rango is an ordinary chameleon who accidentally winds up in the town of Dirt, a lawless outpost in the Wild West in desperate need of a new sheriff," according to the film's promotional material.
It's also a cartoon or something. And Johnny Depp does one of the voices.

We don't know. Maybe it appeals to the children of Shorewood.
