Shorewood-Troy Library Offers Movie, Free Snacks

A movie and free snacks?

Shorewood-Troy Library officials have come up with a hot deal to start the summer off right. They'll be presenting a free screening of "Escape From Planet Earth" from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, June 4, as part of the library's new release movie night program.

And you don't even have to buy popcorn. Free snacks will be provided. The free screening coincides with the DVD release of "Escape From Planet Earth" but, as noted on the library's website, it's "less expensive than the dollar theater with no waiting list."

"Escape From Planet Earth" is rated PG.
