When and how did your business get started?

Zack Kraft and I had long been friends with a strong interest in electronic music. We began our business as a hobby, making and mixing music for our own entertainment and for friends' parties. This proved to be very enjoyable, and our friends urged us to form a business.

Seeing an opportunity to make money doing something that we love, we invested money into more lights and speakers and opened our business. We started out working parties for not much more than gas money; we now pride ourselves on providing music and sound for many local school dances, festivals, and fundraisers.

What is your business best known for?

We are known to be more involved, capable, relevant and entertaining than many other local DJ businesses; our work is very important to us, as are our clientele. As students ourselves, we have a very good feel for what high school students (which generally make up most of the guests at events we work) actually want to hear. We also pride ourselves on being professional and responsible at all times; our age is no excuse not to.

Why did you choose the town you did to open your business?

Me and Zack are both seniors at Minooka Community High School; our business caters to Minooka and the towns surrounding it, particularly Channahon, Shorewood and Joliet.

What's something interesting about your business your customers might not know?

It's probably apparent at times, but Zack and I are not only business partners but very good friends. There is a healthy amount of banter between us at any gig, and we spend plenty of time hanging out for reasons other than business.
