Chicago Theatre Performance a Homecoming for Local Ham Offerman

What is it they say? Once a ham, always a ham?

Yes, he's come full circle.

Nick Offerman worked in the corn and soybean fields as a young boy growing up in Minooka. He made it big as a TV star on NBC's acclaimed sitcom "Parks and Recreation" and now he's coming home for an encore performance.

Offerman will headline the Chicago Theatre Oct. 3 as a part his "American Ham Tour," according to Playbill.com.

He has appeared in the past at the following theatre companies: Defiant Theatre, Steppenwolf, Goodman and Wisdom Bridge, according to Playbill.

His film credits include November, Cursed, Miss Congeniality 2, Armed and Fabulous, Sin City, The Men Who Stare at Goats and The Kings of Summer.

Tickets for his show at the Chicago Theatre are on sale at thechiciagotheatre.com
