Seventh Graders at Holy Family Perform the Living Stations

Seventh graders at Holy Family Catholic School in Shorewood recently wrapped up a long-standing tradition of presenting The Living Stations of the Cross.  Under the direction of 7th grade teacher, Mrs. Delozier, students acted out the road to Calvary as they shared the journey of Jesus with Holy Family students and parishioners before Easter.

All seventh graders played a key role in helping to make this presentation a success.  The evening began with guitar and drums played by Ethan Wepfer.  James Papandria played Jesus for the production.  He spent many hours learning the best way to present the struggle of carrying the cross to spread the message to the audience.

Many students held key behind the scenes jobs as well.  Makeena Jacoby and Bailey Findley worked as stage managers, organizing and keeping track of all the costumes, props, scripts, and accessories.  In addition, Tanner McLintock and Pamela Krumviede worked to time the light displays for an added dramatic effect.

A special thanks to our art teacher, Mr. Cabay, who constructed our very own paper mache boulder for the guards to use.  Students should be proud of all they accomplished in such a short time.  Great job seventh grader!
