Christine Stapleton sings Country at the Timbers

Country western singer Christine Stapleton will entertain her audience, performing classic songs by Patsy Cline, Loretta Lynn and Tammy Wynette at 6:15 p.m. Friday, March 7, at The Timbers of Shorewood, 1100 N. River Rd.

After a debut karaoke performance more than 20 years ago, Stapleton has been a professional singer for the past six years and has performed at the Grundy County Fair, the Grundy County Speedway and the Embassy Care Center in Wilmington.

The Timbers of Shorewood is a rental retirement community which provides independent and assisted living apartments as well as a full schedule of activities and services. Furnished apartments are also available for a short-term stay - a weekend, a week, a month or longer.
