Meet the Author-Live for Tomorrow
Meet Joliet Junior College alumni and employee, Nancy Skroko, author of the recently published book, “Live for Tomorrow”. Partly based on her grandmother’s life in Germany, this book follows Karina Winkler and her spellbinding romance with World War I soldier Derek von Kampler. During the first portion of this book signing, Nancy will share a specially chosen selection of the stories her Grandmother told her about life in Wartime Germany. Nancy will also share her own 26 year journey of writing and publishing, “Live for Tomorrow”. The first twenty people to register and attend this free event will receive a copy of “Live for Tomorrow”, which Nancy will sign during the event. Additional copies will be available for purchase.
