Polish/German Christmas with Eddie Korosa Jr. & the Boys from Illinois at the Timbers

Popular accordion and keyboard player Eddie Korosa, Jr., and his polka band, the Boys from Illinois, will perform a Polish/German Christmas concert at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 11, at The Timbers of Shorewood retirement community, 1100 N. River Rd., Shorewood. The event is free and open the public.

Korosa was voted the “Piano/Keyboard Player of the Year in 1996 and Accordion Player of the Year in 1997 by the United Polka Association. He also entertained audiences at Steppenwolf Theatre during the play, “Evelyn and the Polka King.”

The Timbers of Shorewood is a rental retirement community which provides independent and assisted living apartments and a full schedule of activities and services. Furnished apartments are also available for a short-term stay - a weekend, a week, a month or longer.
