The Chauffeurs: Rock 'n Roll Music Review at the Timbers

The Chauffeurs will perform a rock ‘n roll music review for residents and the public in the piano lounge at 6:30 p.m. Friday, Aug. 30, at The Timbers of Shorewood, 1100 N. River Rd., Shorewood.

The band has been bringing the sounds of the ‘50s, ‘60s and ‘70s to the stage for more than 12 years. Formed by Chicago area natives, Jim and Janice Hughes, the band regularly performs both in Illinois and Arizona. The winter months are spent in Arizona where the group can be found performing in festivals, carnivals, concerts in the park and well-known, fun restaurants. During the spring, summer and fall, they perform all over Chicagoland.

In addition to the bands’ founders, members are: Joe Smith on the drums, Bobby (Rex) Recchia on the lead guitar, Ray Ludkevicz on the bass and vocals and keyboard player Dan Boulous.

The audience is invited to dance and party the night away.

The Timbers of Shorewood is a rental retirement community which provides independent and assisted living apartments and a full schedule of activities and services. Furnished apartments are also available for a short-term stay - a weekend, a week, a month or longer.

The event is open to the public and admission is free. For more information, call Shelly Goggins at 815-609-0669 or visit the Timbers of Shorewood website.
