Friends and family of a local mother battling cancer have organized a benefit to help her financially.
In late May, Stacy Palloch-Boetto was diagnosed with Metaplastic Breast Cancer. The cancer has since metastasized to her liver and has invaded her spine.
A single mother of four children, Stacy grew up and lived most of her life in Shorewood but recently moved to Minooka. Until last week she worked as a doctor's assistant. She had been in the medical field for 25 years.
Family, friends and loved ones organized the “Stacy’s Purple Passion” benefit and will hold it Oct. 12 at Joe’s Bar & Grill, 4220 W. Jefferson St., Joliet.
The benefit starts at 1 p.m. and will run until 11 p.m.
Organizers are seeking assistance from local businesses. To help out, contact Sharon Berger at 815-603-4377 or Sharon@partyhoppersfun.com. Monetary contributions to the Stacy Palloch-Boetto Benefit can be deposited at any BMO Harris bank. The EIN number is 46-3439090.
The benefit will feature feature an inflatable fun fair, raffles, silent auction, food, beer, wine and soda. Organizers are requesting donations for the raffles and silent auction.
