Benefit This Weekend For Local Woman Battling Breast Cancer

The final pieces are being put in place for Saturday's benefit for a Minooka mother battling cancer.

Organizers expect a huge turnout for a Saturday event to benefit a local mother battling cancer.

In late May, Stacy Palloch-Boetto was diagnosed with Metaplastic Breast Cancer. The cancer has since metastasized to her liver and has invaded her spine.

A single mother of four children, Stacy grew up and lived most of her life in Shorewood but recently moved to Minooka. Until last week she worked as a doctor's assistant. She had been in the medical field for 25 years.
