Joliet West Freshman Advances to IHSA Girls Bowling State Tournament

Joliet West High School freshman Taylor Bailey will compete in the IHSA Girls Bowling State Tournament on Feb. 8 and 9 in Rockford, IL.

 

JTHS District 204 is pleased to announce that Joliet West High School freshman Taylor Bailey will compete in the IHSA Girls Bowling State Tournament on Feb. 8 and 9 in Rockford, IL.

Bailey is an at large qualifier for the event after receiving a score of 1279 (pins) at the Park Forest (Rich East) Girls Bowling Sectional. She came in fourth place overall.

“Taylor has had a great season, and sectionals allowed her to prove herself at the varsity level. I know that she is going to have fun and do great at the State Finals," said Coach Justin McNally. 

The Joliet West Girls Bowling Team finished in third place overall with a score of 5823.
