Joliet West Student Athletes Sign Letters of Intent

Fifteen Joliet West High School athletes signed letters of intent to continue their athletic careers at the collegiate level at a ceremony on Tuesday, April 30.

Joliet West Athletic Director Steve Millsaps, along with eight JWHS coaches, were present to introduce and recognize the 15 student athletes in the school’s auditorium.

 “These students are dedicated to their education and athletics,” said Millsaps.  “I am extremely proud of each and every one of them.”

Students who signed letters of intent at the ceremony include: Brandon McCullum, Boys Basketball, Marian University; Morris Dunnigan, Boys Basketball, Vincennes University; Jake Godlewski, Cross Country, St. Ambrose University; Kameron Hargrove, Football, St. Ambrose University; Diondrey Hood, Football, North Central College; Justin Jackson, Football, Lindenwood University; Korey Rogers, Football, Robert Morris University; Angela Palomar, Girls Bowling, Robert Morris University; Caitlin Shea, Girls Tennis, Carleton College; Devyn Boswell, Boys Golf, Robert Morris University; Katie McKay, Softball, Illinois Benedictine University; Quinn Ahern, Baseball, Northern Iowa Area Community College; Jake Herron, Baseball, John A Logan College; Steven Kotrba, Baseball, Aurora University;; and Alex Wesner, Baseball, Aurora University.

Coaches presenting recognitions include: Luke Yaklich, Boys Basketball; Brian Newman, Boys Cross Country; Jason Aubry, Football; Justin McNally, Girls Bowling; Kit Gillman, Tennis; Ed Larson, Boys Golf; Heather Suca, Softball; and John Karczewski, Baseball.
