The Joliet West High School Chess Team won six out of 8 games at the SWSC match against Lockport last week. Joliet West ended the match with a final score of 53 to 13. Student winners of the Lockport games from Joliet West were Uriel Castro, Jack Sapp, Zack Klima, Dylan Eigenheer, Evan Duda, and Felipe Reyes. The chess team is coached by Tristan Reilly and Lauren VanHolst.
