Teen terrors?

The Shorewood cops snatched up two teenage boys on criminal damage and residential burglary charges at the residence they were allegedly damaging and burgling.

The two 15-year-olds, one of whom is from and the other from Minooka, were taken into custody shortly after 12:30 p.m. at a home in the 1000 block of Windsor Drive.

The boys were arrested "after officers responded to a report of suspicious persons," police said.

The two teens were taken to River Valley Juvenile Detention Center in Joliet.

Lucky number

A Crest Hill man ran into trouble when an officer randomly ran his license plate and figured out his license was suspended, said.

Daniel Anders, 20, of 2506 Lotus Lane was pulled over shortly before 10:30 p.m. near the intersection of Route 52 and Robin Hill Drive.

Anders was arrested on a charge of driving while license suspended and cited for the alleged improper use of a registration.

You should not comment on things you know nothing about. Most people know that these officers do more then reported on the Patch. what happened to the fire department tour? Maybe they should offer you a ride with the police (not in the back).

Now wouldn't you be surprised if everything you read about them doing on the Patch was all they did do? If there was ssoooo much going on then maybe the blotter would have more then 2 things a week. Running plates and radar IS all they do. That is why when my niebhor freaked out and had a flashback from Nam Shorewood had to call in Joliet S.W.A.T. and let them take over. {there was no weapons involved....Except the cops} You people in general are a damn joke! And no I have no interest is seeing how boring the day to day operations are at either the S.P.D. or the T.F.D. Now if I could get a garuntee that shomething would happen I might consider going.

You are nothing but a complainer. We live in a nice community. The police help keep it that way by cleaning up the "little" things that could bring Shorewood down. Walk a mile in their shoes before you criticize. The Shorewood police are quick to respond and do way more than you read about here in the blotter. Try living without a police force. Again, we live in a nice town and the police are here to keep it that way. Quit your bellaching Steve.......you're IQ and deep personality are showing.

Then move to Joliet or Bolingbrook....tough towns because there are many lawbreakers there...too many for the police to keep all the little things at bay.

Wow joliza way to comment on something I no longer care about. Piss off, Its funny how you people get all mad at me for a comment. there must not be much more in your life going on since you commented and a two week old story. Go find a job!
