Teen terrors?

The Shorewood cops snatched up two teenage boys on criminal damage and residential burglary charges at the residence they were allegedly damaging and burgling.

The two 15-year-olds, one of whom is from and the other from Minooka, were taken into custody shortly after 12:30 p.m. at a home in the 1000 block of Windsor Drive.

The boys were arrested "after officers responded to a report of suspicious persons," police said.

The two teens were taken to River Valley Juvenile Detention Center in Joliet.

Lucky number

A Crest Hill man ran into trouble when an officer randomly ran his license plate and figured out his license was suspended, said.

Daniel Anders, 20, of 2506 Lotus Lane was pulled over shortly before 10:30 p.m. near the intersection of Route 52 and Robin Hill Drive.

Anders was arrested on a charge of driving while license suspended and cited for the alleged improper use of a registration.

Anders was released from custody after posting bond.
