Spare a dime?

A man was arrested after neighbors he was bothering for money called the cops on him and said he was intoxicated, police said.

Benjamin Cook, 38, of 707 Heintz Drive was taken into custody down the street from his home about 7:45 p.m.

The said officers headed over to Heintz Drive to investigate a report of someone "intoxicated and asking for money from residents."

Cook apparently resisted or obstructed the officers on Heintz Drive, according to police, as he was arrested on a charge of resisting or obstructing a peace officer.

Heintz was released from custody after posting bond. The police did not disclose whether Heintz got his bond money from the neighbors.

Where's the fire?

A local man was arrested on a charge of driving with a revoked license after he got pulled over for speeding, police said.

Carmelo Guzman, 22, of 100 Meadow Drive was taken into custody about 1:15 a.m. just yards away from his home.

Guzman was released after posting bond.
