Feb. 10

Domestic battery charge

A man was jailed on a charge of domestic battery.

David Jercinovic, 35, of 708 Westshore Drive was arrested at his home about noon and transported to the Will County jail.

Feb. 8

Cops: Bottle booster busted

A Joliet woman stole a bottle of booze from a West Jefferson Street liquor store, said.

Nichole Johnson-Stefan, 29, of 416 Bridge St. was arrested shortly before 6 p.m. at .

Johnson-Stefan allegedly stole a bottle of liquor from the 1135 W. Jefferson St. store.

Johnson-Stefan was charged with retail theft. She was released from custody after posting bond.

Feb. 6

Tough morning

A local teen landed in all sorts of trouble during a traffic stop just before 8 a.m. near the intersection of Route 59 and Capista Drive.

David Gregory, 18, of 24665 W. Manor Drive was charged with resisting or obstructing a peace officer, possession of alcohol by a minor, driving without insurance, failing to signal, and making an improper turn at an intersection.

Gregory was released from custody after posting bond.

Again with Feb. 6

Wanted woman

A local woman wanted on a shoplifting charge surrendered to the law, police said.

Laura Tuider, 48, of 1604 Devonshire Lane was taken into custody on a Will County warrant about 11:30 a.m.

Tuider was released after posting bond.
