The nabbed a couple teenage girls for hanging out after hours at the , police said.

The girls, ages 14 and 15, were picked up shortly before 3 a.m. outside the 101 Cottage St. convenience store.

The teens were released to their parents pending a court appearance.

Cops: Faker can't fool finest

An underage Plainfield man was able to get his hands on some alcohol but failed to bamboozle the Shorewood cops, police said.

Oscar Herrera, 20, of 1921 Glacier Ridge Drive was arrested at the tavern the about 1:30 a.m.

The police said they were at the 103 E. Jefferson St. watering hole "looking for the owner of a vehicle parked illegally in the street."

This somehow led them to Herrera, who was charged with illegal consumption of alcohol by a minor and misrepresentation of age by a minor.
