You should have caught it on film!

Why is it criminal to drive without a seat belt? I understand the law as it applies to your passengers (especially children). It is like helmet laws. If an adult wants to bike without one that is his business.

Ok Steve, it is on the record. You are threatening to physically harm a police officer the next time he stops in front of your house and runs a plate or looks at your house. I think a mental facility might be more in line for you when you get soooo worked up over a "police officer" running your plate. So you know, there is nothing wrong with an officer running a plate on a vehicle in your driveway. You may rant and rave like a little child, but, like it or not, this is legal. Don't like it? Park in your garage. Or better yet, move out of town. The two tickets you received for no seat belt were your fault. If you don't like it, put your seat belt on. And Dorothy, exactly what do you think Steve should've done with that video tape after he "caught" the officer running a plate in Steve's driveway? Take it in to the station and report the officer? I don't understand what you think was "wrong" here that should've been captured on film. Here again, you are labeling an entire police dept. as "pigs" and expressing that you HATE the entire dept. The last time we had this discussion, you let on that there are some good guys out there on S.P.D. Did that quick license plate check really drive you over the edge???
