Dim and dimmer

A Plainfield man riding around Shorewood with dark registration lights turned out to have no valid license or registration, police said.

Maurice Spraggins, 25, of 1705 Great Ridge Drive was arrested shortly after 9 p.m. near the corner of Black Road and Rollingwood Drive.

Stay classy, Peoria (and Minonk)

A man from Minonk and a Peorian peed on cars in the drive-thru of the Brookforest Avenue McDonald's, police said.

Ryan Buxton, 24, of 7808 Mohawk Trail in Peoria, and Jordan Castrejon, 25, of 902 N. Chestnut St. in Minonk were arrested on a charge each of disorderly conduct for "urinating on vehicles in the drive-thru," police said.

Cops: Bush man bagged

A Plainfield man was caught hiding in the bushes outside an auto body shop by cops responding to a burglar alarm, police said.

Sean Hollingsworth, 31, of 2713 Ruth Fitzgerald Drive was nabbed about 7:15 p.m. at Collision Centers of America.

Hollingsworth was "seated behind a row of bushes near the business," police said.

He was taken into custody outside the 18600 Brookforest Ave. establishment and charged with criminal damage to property and criminal trespass.

The police made no mention of what Hollingsworth is supposed to have damaged.

Drunken driving arrest

A sharp-eyed Shorewood cop spotted a Channahon man driving without his seat belt on and then arrested him on a charge of driving under the influence, police said.

Christopher Riney, 21, of 2218 S. Park Place was taken into custody about 2 a.m. near the intersection of Route 52 and Route 59.

Riney was also charged with driving without insurance.

Wanted woman

The Shorewood police reportedly collared a Joliet woman wanted on a Will County warrant.

Andrea Finch, 42, of 2508 Von Esch Road was arrested shortly after 10 p.m. near the corner of Capista Avenue and Brookforest Drive.

Finch had a warrant for driving while license revoked or suspended, police said.
