Drug arrest

A Plainfield man was caught with pot after he failed to signal a turn, said.

Brantel McKinney, 20, of 5611 Arbor Gate Drive was pulled over about 12:30 a.m. near the intersection of Route 59 and School Street.

McKinney was arrested on charges of possession of cannabis and failing to signal. He posted bond and was released from custody.

Ill-equipped

A Plainfield man was arrested after an officer randomly ran his plate and discovered the driver's license was suspended, police said.

Christopher Luth, 23, of 2221 Candlewood Drive was taken into custody about 1:30 a.m. near the intersection of Route 59 and Black Road.

Luth was charged with driving while license suspended and possession of drug equipment. He was released from custody after posting bond.
