Police Blotter: Aggravated Battery, Outstanding Warrant Arrests

Joseph A. Howard, 23, Plainfield, was arrested by Shorewood police for aggravated battery after officers responded to a disturbance call at 103 E. Jefferson (The Crowd Around Me) on May 30, 2013. Howard was transported to the Will County Adult Detention Facility.

Aaron R. Blanchard, 29, Shorewood, was arrested by Shorewood police for battery and criminal damage to property after officers responded to a disturbance call in the 1200 block of Glen Mor Drive on May 31, 2013. Blanchard posted bond and was released with court information.

Kristin L. Nash, 31, Shorewood, was arrested by Shorewood police for domestic battery and interferring with reporting of domestic violence in the 1000 block of Ridge Road on May 31, 2013. Nash was transported to the Will County Adult Detention Facility.

Vishesh M. Singh, 30, Joliet, was arrested by Shorewood police for DUI and ticketed for no insurance, driving in the wrong lane, reckless driving and failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident after officers responded to the accident at I-55/E. Jefferson St. on June 2, 2013. Singh posted bond and was released with court information.

Phyllis G. Strama, 49, Shorewood, was arrested by Shorewood police for resisting/obstructing a peace officer and ticketed for improper lane usage and failure to provide information after officers were called to the scene for criminal damage to property in the 900 block of Shorewood Drive on June 2, 2013. Strama posted bond and was released with court information.

David A. Strama, 45, Shorewood, was arrested by Shorewood police for interfering with the reporting of domestic violence in the 600 block of Crystal Drive on June 2, 2013. Strama posted bond and was released with court information.

Kristin M. Meneghetti, 28, Norridge, was arrested by Shorewood police for DWLS and ticketed for no insurance and no valid registration after her vehicle was stopped for expired plates at 305 Black Road on May 30, 2013. Meneghetti posted bond and was given court information. She also was arrested on a Will County warrant for DWLS and a McHenry warrant for larceny. She was unable to post bond on the two warrants and was transported to the Will County Adult Detention Facility.
