Police Blotter: Battery, DUI & Larceny Arrests

Dominic R. Charon, 43, 15025 S. Center, Plainfield, was arrested by Shorewood police for battery after officers were notified of a dispute that had taken place at 400 NE Frontage Road (Freedom Automotive) on Aug. 16, 2013. Charon posted bond and was released with court information.

Craig A. Heizer, 50, 912 Mazalin, Shorewood, was arrested by Shorewood police after his vehicle was stopped for a traffic light violation at 800 Brookforest (Speedway) on Aug. 17, 2013. He was charged with DUI and ticketed for no insurance and a traffic signal violation. Heizer posted bond and was released with court information.

Susan P. Astrowski, 39, 148 Turtle, Shorewood, was arrested by Shorewood police during a service detail at 148 Turtle on Aug. 18, 2013. She was charged on a Will County warrant for larceny. Astrowski was unable to post bond and was taken to the Will County Adult Detention Facility.
