Luis E. Corral Jr., 18, 115 Essington Road, Joliet, and Lazarus M. Rojas, 18, 4904 S Kolin, Chicago, were charged with possession of marijuana at 3:49 a.m. Jan. 2 at Route 59 and Black Road, Shorewood police said.
Reports state Corral Jr. was also charged with possession of drug equipment and ticketed for loud muffler after his car was stopped for the equipment violation.
Both Corral Jr. and Rojas posted bond and were released with court information.
