Rear Registration Light Shorewood Police Blotter

The Shorewood cops say they caught another one with a bad registration light — and this time it was a Shorewood guy.

Rear registration light

A local man driving without a rear registration light caught a drug case after a Shorewood cop pulled him over, police said.

Nicholas Obradovich, 18, of 317 Parkside Drive was pulled over about 11:30 p.m. near the intersection of Wyntsone and Parkside drives.

Obradovich took a ticket for allegedly being without a rear registration light, and on top of that was hauled off to the county jail on charges of possession of a controlled substance, possession of cannabis and possession of drug equipment.

Obradovich was also cited for the alleged improper display of his license plate.

Dispatch from beyond

A Shorewood woman ran into some trouble with the law out in Frankfort.

Ghassan Hanna, 40, of 25312 W. Glen Oaks Lane was cited for speeding, improper lane usage, operating an uninsured motor vehicle and failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident.

Hanna was picked up by the sheriff's police in the 23000 block of South Dutch Drive.

Sept. 3

Drunken driving arrest

Shorewood cops responding to a report of an accident arrested a local man on a charge of driving under the influence.

Timothy Kettman, 29, of 606 Ravinia Drive was also charged with improper lane usage and failure to reduce speed.

Kettman was taken into custody shortly before 2 a.m. near the junction of Interstate 55 and Route 52.
