A Joliet man wanted on an Illinois Department of Corrections warrant was arrested and jailed.

Justin Kaiser, 22, of 2201 Taylor St. was taken into custody about 6:15 p.m. in the trailer park on East Jefferson Street in .

The transported Kaiser to the Will County jail

Kaiser was released from prison only two weeks before he was arrested in Shorewood. He had served just under two months making a false report to the police, damaging property and unlawfully possessing a weapon, according to department of corrections records.

Court records show Kaiser was caught by the Joliet police with a short-barreled shotgun in 2008. That was the same year he was arrested and charged with damaging a Honda CRV.

Kaiser caught the false report case in 2010 for calling the Joliet police and claiming someone held a pistol to his head and stole his car.
