The police say this one young lady was caught walking around way later than she was supposed to be.

(After) midnight rambler

A Braidwood teen was caught strolling through a West Jefferson Street parking lot nearly an hour and a half after midnight, said.

The 16-year-old girl was walking in a parking lot on West Jefferson Street at the ungodly hour of 1:27 a.m., police said.

Officers arrested the teen on a charge of violating curfew and released her to the custody of a guardian.

April 4

License light plight

A Joliet man tried driving around without a rear registration light but it didn't work out so well for him, police said.

Marcus Moore, 28, of 1512 Englewood Ave. was pulled over shortly before 5 a.m. near the junction of Route 52 and the Interstate 55 frontage road.

During the traffic stop, police said, officers realized Moore was driving with a suspended license and arrested him.

Moore was released after posting bond.

April 6

Traffic trouble

A Plainfield man was arrested during a late-night traffic stop.

David Corona, 21, of 1650 Quinn Drive was pulled over near the intersection of Route 59 and Oakwood Drive and charged with driving while license suspended, speeding, neglecting to wear his seat belt and speeding. He was also picked up on a Will County traffic warrant.

Corona posted bond and was released from custody.
